Who we’re looking for

Our new consulting colleagues have an engineering and/or business degree and have often already taken their first career steps in line or staff functions in industry. Some of them already have experience at another consulting firm. Even if you have been working at a university or a comparable institution, it is worth your while to talk to us.

We are looking for individuals who are inquisitive and flexible by nature and who wish and are able to move things forward in demanding project environments. Analytical capabilities, excellent social skills and fluency in English are a prerequisite.

Career levels

At maexpartners we offer a tiered career track. Depending on your specialized expertise and professional experience, you can enter at any one of these levels.


The Consultant supports our projects as a full team member through independently completing tasks in direct client contact. The spectrum of possible workstreams ranges from market and competition assessments through conducting interviews and participating in workshops to in-depth analysis and results derivation of client data. In addition he further develops our analysis tools with a high degree of technical know-how and industry expertise.

Senior Consultant

Working on the maexpartners team with colleagues and the client’s personnel, a Senior Consultant contributes specialized expertise and initial consulting experience to all project work – and represents maexpartners vis-à-vis the customer. Senior Consultants help prepare proposals and presentations for the management of the customer’s company. They also expand the expertise and methods that are the basis of maexpartners as part of internal product development projects.


The Manager heads the project team, carries out projects according to maexpartners standards and maexpartners quality requirements and takes responsibility for the project and achieved results vis-à-vis the customer. The Manager also trains employees in the maexpartners philosophy.

Senior Manager

The Senior Manager reports to partners responsible for the project as well as to management. The Senior Manager heads large teams on national and international projects, also carries out major projects independently according to maexpartners standards and maexpartners quality requirements and represents the project as well as the results achieved vis-à-vis the customer. The Senior Manager also supports the development and maintenance of customer relations in close cooperation with the respective partner responsible for the project.


A Partner is responsible for the project in all dealings with the customer. Partners develop customer relations and maintain them. They are also experts in specialization and strategy who keep the trends and challenges in core branches on the radar and make a decisive contribution to shaping our answers to these challenges. Our most successful partners are part of our management.
